Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device they use and however they use it. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. You should be able to:
- use it with a keyboard alone, and see where you are on the page;
- use it with a screen reader;
- zoom in to 400% without words disappearing or the page scrolling sideways;
- read every word against its background, at a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1.
How we check
We check the website with axe-core, an automated accessibility checker, every time it changes, at desktop and phone widths, and we test it with a keyboard. The school websites built on SchoolSite, including the sample schools linked from the Designs section, are checked automatically on every page each time they are published.
